Tiffany McDowell

Director of Social Impact, Paul M. Angell Family Foundation

Tiffany McDowell Davis, PhD (she/her) is a community psychologist and social impact leader committed to breaking down barriers that marginalize people and communities. Her work focuses on advancing equity, well-being, and belonging by creating inclusive solutions where all voices are valued. Tiffany is currently the Director of Social Impact at the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation. 

Over the course of her career, Tiffany has partnered with both nonprofits and businesses to help them live out their missions—through program design and evaluation, community assessments, and facilitation. She is especially passionate about building community capacity, sparking collaboration, and helping organizations turn ideas into sustainable change. 

Previously, Tiffany served as Director of the Equity Institute at YWCA Evanston/North Shore, where she led capacity-building efforts for human service organizations. She was also co-Executive Director of Adler University’s Institute on Social Exclusion and co-founded the Chicagoland Equity Network. Today, she contributes her expertise as a member of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning’s Regional Economy Committee and as a Founding Board Member of the Black Researchers Collective.
